Top Three Lines: Buffalo Sabres 5, Toronto Maple Leafs 4

The ol' Midnight Meat Train

Two lines are officially not enough for me to describe why the Sabres won or lost. For more thoughts on any game, hit up my Twitter feed.

1) Thomas Vanek had three goals in his last 14 games and now he has four in his last five after the brace tonight, but it was Zack Kassian’s takeaway to set up Vanek’s first tally that deserves the highest accolades.

2) It always seems that taking advantage of a 5-on-3 power play is a pretty tell-tale sign that a ‘W’ is coming, but so does spending approximately an entire period on the power play.

3) Brayden McNabb is making the center of the ice a scary place to be and the tutelage of Robyn Regehr is likely helping a whole lot.
