Tom Fontana (right, with “Copper” star Tom Weston-Harris) has written and produced shows like “Oz” — which he created — “Homicide: Life On The Street,” “St. Elsewhere” and now “Copper,” which is two episodes deep on BBC America (airs Sunday nights). We talk about his roots in Buffalo and local theater, his relationships with people like Dick Wolf, Christopher Meloni & David Simon plus, of course, his new Civil War-era crime drama. It’s a blast.
