Sabres In A Limerick: Ottawa 4, Buffalo 3

There once was a ‘tender named Jhonas
And when he played well twas a bonus
That was not the scenario
In Southeastern Ontario
Do you have a spare goalie to loan us?

Yes, remember when we thought Enroth might be better than Miller? We’re in sad shape with him now.

  2. Leelee Phoenix says:

Miller hasn’t been good, either. Since the Olympic year, he remains an average starting goalie at best. Trading him then like I wanted would have been awesome, sigh…

Also, Jeanneret/Ray on radio may be the worst announcing ever. Including Harry Neale.

Agree (mostly) about the new RJ/Ray announcing duo. They haven’t developed any chemistry, yet. Having Ray rinkside probably doesn’t help. Plus, RJ is still a bit rusty, or maybe he’s just lost a few mph off his fastball. It’s to be expected. He’s 70. But, I must disagree: Nothing was a bad as Harry Neale, bless his soul, in the last few years at least. Ray is not great, but at least he can keep up, and offer more than just the mundane stats that Harry offered. The broadcast is better with Ray. But, only just.

As far as the team…It’s the team Defense. It is simply a horror show. Goaltending included, of course; which has been mediocre to awful, even with Mr. DeWulf between the pipes. And now it’s probably too late, or unwise, to trade him away.

So, as it turns out, both our Buffalo sports teams now have the same exact primary problem…

      Fix The Defense(s).

Twas morning on a a radio show
White and Simon tried to put fans in the know
The team Prez was under attack
