(WECK 1230) — I love the Bills, beards and — most recently — the play of Ryan Fitzpatrick, so when I received this email about “Fitzmagic”, you know I was all over it.

We went ahead and created an online petition to Save Ryan Fitzpatrick’s Beard. (Last week) he announced that he’s planning to shave it after the regular season finale, and we think that would be a crying shame … so we’ve set out to do something about it:

e Bills locker room. Granted, even if it moved him emotionally and spiritually, we’d still need Mrs. Fitz on board, but it’s worth a shot, right? At the very least, maybe we can commit him to beginning another season’s worth of growth next preseason.

If you can’t get Fitz to keep the beard, how about auctioning locks of his beard for charity? Maybe the Bills could keep a few hairs to try to clone Fitz-magic so he could be his own backup?
