“You can’t start a fire worrying about your little world falling apart,” Bruce Springsteen
Hey all,
Who am I? Career-wise, I’m a broadcaster and aspiring author who is trying to use his limited influence to make Buffalo work for its people despite a great deal of stale status quo forcing friends and family out of town.
Play-by-play and color analysis is my passion, especially in ice hockey. I’ve handled the reigns for Niagara University, Canisius and R.I.T. ice hockey, Western New York Flash professional soccer as well as a lot of work at my beloved alma mater: University at Buffalo football, basketball and soccer are on my record. I’ve also done some TV broadcasting through Time Warner Cable Sportsnet and done a massive amount of freelance writing and reporting for various newspapers and radio stations.
Personally, I have a lot of interests. I’m happily married to my best friend, with whom I made a massive toddler (birthed in November 2010). We live in the Town of Tonawanda with a hound dog named Ernie Banks. I’m very proud of my family, both the folks who I grew up with in the Northtowns and the ones I added in South Buffalo through marriage.
I really like sports, especially playing iced hockey and grassed soccer. I co-own a minor league soccer team in the National Premier Soccer League called FC Buffalo. I like rock and roll music and all kinds of film. I enjoy growing a nice beard and enjoying good scotch. I’m a vegetarian and I’m Catholic. I think you’d love my friends.
Here’s what fancy people have said about me:
