By now, a bunch of you are probably really sick of the vuvuzela, the South African horn sounded during games of the 2010 World Cup. Well, you may not know that before U2 was approached to make a promo for the tournament, FIFA asked WECK’s Frank Miller and myself to write a song previewing the games.
The entire thing is longer, and will be played on Riter Radio this afternoon (4-7 p.m. EST on www.weck1230.com), but here’s short sample: “The Late Nick Mendola’s” World Cup promo for ESPN/WECK
